  I think this will be an Honest to goodness rate. So lemme explain this in a very simple but precise mannerJapan Embassy in Frankfurt are strict when it comes to their rules and requirements. Yes, They may not be the most smiling people you could see but thats given, Japanese people are tend to be more serious and discipline when it comes to work, so expect that smiling do somehow, not always present in them. I did apply my Visa with them and as far as I know, they are very friendly and soemhow smiled even abit when I talked to them. Saying to them that they are rude? Perhaps the others mistakenly pertains to that character on their work place as I have said. The Process is quick actually, if you bring of course, the right documents. So better prepare all the necessary papers before visiting them. Most of the people I witnessed having longer time in talking to the staff, were people who didnt bought their complete requirements or forgot to write something on the Visa forms. So its clearly not the Embassys fault.Lastly I have applied 3 times to this embassy and I have no, absolutely no denied visa experience with them. If they see you have a good intention in coming to Japan, then show it while applying for their Visa. They are very courteous and if everything is ok, youll get your visa in 3-5 days.Have a nice day
